PRE-BRONZE DETAILS

Welcome back to skating! We’re excited to kick off the season with the Pre-Bronze Groups. For those new to this level, here’s an overview of what to expect:
On-Ice and Off-Ice Schedule:
Each session includes 45 minutes of on-ice training followed by 50 minutes of off-ice conditioning at Stan Wadlow Community Centre.
For today and Friday's session:
- Off-ice coach Laura will meet the skaters in the lobby after the on-ice session and guide them to Stan Wadlow.
For future sessions:
- Laura will meet the skaters directly at Stan Wadlow to ensure everything is set up and ready.
What to Bring Each Week:
- Yoga Mat
- Water Bottle
- Proper Running Shoes
- Skipping Rope
- Hair Tied Back for every class
About Off-Ice:
This program is a sport-specific introduction to strength and conditioning, plyometrics, and artistry, designed for aspiring figure skaters. Skaters will develop key skills in agility, rhythm, coordination, flexibility, balance, and strength—while having fun!
Each class will also incorporate music, adding an artistic dimension to the training.
Weekly Schedule:
Wednesday:
- 6:30 - 7:15 pm: On-Ice
- 7:15 - 7:30 pm: Skaters remove skates and walk to Off-Ice
- 7:30 - 8:20 pm: Off-Ice
Friday:
- 6:15 - 7:00 pm: On-Ice
- 7:00 - 7:15 pm: Skaters remove skates and walk to Off-Ice
- 7:15 - 8:05 pm: Off-Ice

ICE SHOW FEATURE AUDITIONS - WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH 2025

Exciting News: Ice Show 2025 - Feature Auditions on
Wednesday, February 12th, 2025.
Calling all Bronze, Silver, and Gold skaters who are interested in having a feature in the Ice Show. On February 12th, skaters can audition their solo or artistic performance in front of judges. If skaters do not have a solo, we highly recommend that skaters discuss details with their private coach before registering.
Requirements:
- Registered in the Ice Show
- Completed Star 2 and/or Competed in the Star 2 category
Registration is now open ($20) until January 31st @ 11:59pm.

Our ice opens at 4:10 pm, but we will confirm the official start time of this event upon the completion of registration. An audition schedule will be emailed to participants.
Those selected for a Feature will be notified via email and will receive a code to register for their position at a fee of $75.
