NO REGULAR SESSIONS ON DECEMBER 27TH

Happy Holidays!
Friendly reminder there are NO regular sessions/classes/off-ice on
Friday, December 27th.
There was an error on the calendar - those sessions were not included/paid for in the initial registration.
All Friday sessions will resume on Friday, January 10th.

Dear Members,
The club had hoped to host a Holiday Skate. We regret to inform you that the event has been cancelled this year, and there will be no skating this Sunday, December 22.
Enjoy the break over the holidays!

DON MONTGOMERY CLOSED ON DEC 16TH

We have just received notice from Don Montgomery that due to a required repair of the leaking fire hydrant, Don Mongomery will be closed on Monday.
All sessions are cancelled on Monday, December 16th 2024

As the final week of skating approaches before December Break, we would love for all skaters to dress in festive attire!
Just a friendly reminder that registration for the Ice Show has been extended to December 20th! As we celebrate the club's 75th Anniversary, we can't wait to share this occasion with everyone during the Ice Show.

If you missed your initial Ice Show Registration, don't wait—secure your spot now! We have extended Ice Show Registration until December 20th, 2024.

Why Participate?
- Pre-Can and Canskaters are the highlights for parents to watch! Watch them show off their new skills around the rink— even if they are just marching, they steal the show!
- Lowered registration fee from previous years to only $75 (per number)
- There are no skating lessons from the end of Winter (April 1st) until the start of Spring (April 28th). The month of April is focused on the Ice Show. This is a great opportunity to combine all the skills and meet new skaters before Spring Classes.
- Program Assistants: As a thank you from the club, we are offering a FREE number to you as the 2024/2025 Program Assistants.
- Skaters have a wonderful experience creating lifelong memories: from skating in the show and wearing costumes to laughing in the changerooms and cheering for the snack cart's arrival!
- Graduating skaters often reflect on their many ice show experiences and frequently reminisce about their FIRST Ice Show! They always enjoy revisiting their first Ice Show photos and videos.
This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the East York Skating Club, and we aim to make this celebration the biggest show yet by including as many skaters as possible! The memories created during this event are invaluable, and many lasting friendships have formed from the time spent together preparing for and performing in the ice show.
